Katryn Smith

Katryn Smith is a CPA, CA, and CFE with a strong background in financial services, particularly in the audit of public and private insurance clients. Katryn has experience conducting cross-border group audits and US GAAP and SEC reporting within the reinsurance and retirement services sectors. Previously, Katryn worked as an Audit Director at Deloitte and held multiple roles, including Senior Associate and Senior Manager, during their tenure from 2013 to 2020. Currently, Katryn is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics/Geography at McGill University, alongside a Master of Management and Professional Accounting from the University of Toronto and an Ontario graduate certificate in Financial Forensics and Fraud Investigation from Seneca College.
