Teresa Matter

Teresa Matter is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in the investment management industry. Currently serving as Tax Managing Director at Deloitte since April 2013, Teresa oversees tax compliance and consulting for mutual fund clients, specializing in the taxation of derivatives. Prior to Deloitte, Teresa was Director of Mutual Fund Tax at The Hartford from 2004 to April 2013, where responsibilities included establishing tax accounting policies and overseeing mutual fund tax compliance. Teresa began their career as a Senior Tax Specialist at KPMG Peat Marwick, focusing on investment companies. Teresa holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy in Taxation from the Wisconsin School of Business.
