André Sardo

André Sardo has extensive experience in software engineering, with a focus on full-stack development and backend systems. André is currently working as a Lead Software Engineer at Delphi Digital, where they are involved in a DeFi project called Astroport. Their responsibilities include developing the frontend and backend technologies using Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Typescript, GraphQL, AWS Serverless, Node.js, Rust, and more.

Prior to their current role, André was the founder of YellowCAP CO, a consulting agency, where they handled administration, sales, customer relations, team management, and software development. The agency grew to four employees and served more than 10 large clients.

Before that, André worked as a Full Stack Engineer at RelocationOnline, Inc., where they led the development team and participated in the product development process. André helped migrate regular Rails view templates to a React SPA and converted Rails endpoints to REST responses.

André also has experience as a Full Stack Engineer and Shopify Developer at UniKitOut. André managed multiple ecommerce Shopify stores and achieved around £5 million in annual revenue. Additionally, they worked as a Full Stack Engineer at boomApp, a computer vision startup, where they were responsible for backend development and DevOps in AWS.

Earlier in their career, André was a founding engineer at Kaizen Academy, where they built a martial arts gym management software using Django as the backend and Vue.js as the frontend. All the software was deployed in DigitalOcean.

André Sardo completed their Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering at Universidade Nova de Lisboa from 2011 to 2016.
