Yiannis Thomatos is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in media, communication, and strategic planning. Currently serving as Executive Vice President at the Delphi Economic Forum since 2015, Yiannis is dedicated to promoting sustainable growth in Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean. As a Partner and Head of Content at Tsomokos, Yiannis identifies innovative business opportunities through industry research. Additionally, Yiannis has been a Research Associate at the University Research Institute of Applied Communication/University of Athens since 2006, focusing on applied communication research. Previous roles include strategic planning at M.E.S.O Events, project management at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, and event management positions at VICE Media and City Screen. Academic qualifications include a PhD candidacy in Media and Communication from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, alongside an MA and BA from Goldsmiths, University of London.

Delphi Economic Forum is an independent and impartial not-for-profit organization working in close cooperation with civil society, public organizations, businesses and individuals.
