Rama Gundlapalli

Rama Gundlapalli is an accomplished engineering executive currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Delphinus Medical Technologies, Inc., since May 2024. In this role, Rama oversees all engineering domains throughout the product lifecycle, having successfully transformed a cross-functional engineering team to enhance the reliability and performance of the SoftVue™ System. Previously, Rama held the position of Senior Director of Research Collaborations at Siemens Healthineers from August 2019 to February 2024, where leadership transformation and product development strategies were key focus areas. As the Founder and CEO of TeenFitNation, LLC, and Co-Founder/Vice President at SilMed, Inc., Rama contributed significantly to the development of software-controlled medical devices. Additionally, Rama served as Director of Research and Development/Engineering at Northgate Technologies, Inc., leading a team to manage substantial budgets and innovate within the medical field. Rama holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University.
