Pritesh Parekh

Pritesh Parekh has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Pritesh started their career at Envestnet | Yodlee in 2007, where they served as a Senior Security Architect and later became the Director of Application Security. In these roles, they managed the global security program and was responsible for security across all products and cloud services, working with top banks and Fortune 100 clients. Parekh then joined BITS Shared Assessment as a Subject Matter Expert, where they played a key role in evaluating security controls and risks of service providers globally. At ServiceNow, they served as the Chief Information Security Officer and built the security program from scratch, achieving various certifications and enabling federal business operations. Parekh went on to join Zuora as the Vice President and Chief Security Officer, leading the security team through multiple organizational transformations and building a world-class security and compliance program. Pritesh also worked at Dell Technologies as the Chief Trust & Security Officer and Vice President of Engineering for Virtustream, overseeing trust-related aspects and product development. Parekh's advisory roles include positions at YL Ventures, Forbes Technology Council, RightRev, and Whistic. Currently, at Delphix, they hold the title of VP of Engineering and Chief Trust & Security Officer.

Pritesh Parekh's education history includes obtaining a degree in Managing Innovation from Stanford University in 2020. Prior to that, they completed an MBA in Information Technology from California State University, Fresno from 2003 to 2005. Pritesh also holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from California State University, Fresno, which they obtained from 2001 to 2003. Pritesh obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Before attending the University of Mumbai, they attended SIES for an unspecified period of time, focusing on Information Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Pritesh Parekh has acquired several certifications. Pritesh became Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) through ISACA in 2010, obtained the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA in 2008, and received the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification from ISACA in 2007. Pritesh also holds the Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH) certification from the International EC-Council, which they obtained in 2005. In addition, they earned the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from ISC2 in 2005 and the Certified Firewall Analyst (GIAC-GCFW) certification from SANS in 2006.
