Scott MacDonald

Scott MacDonald has over 25 years of experience in the computer industry. Scott has worked as a Computer Operator at LTCB International, where they were responsible for VAX/VMS operations, system administration, and desktop support. Scott then joined MOBILE SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL LIMITED as a UNIX Team Leader, leading the UNIX team for three years.

Following that, Scott worked at Sun Microsystems as a Senior Support Engineer, providing support for Solaris OS and Kernel in mission-critical environments. Scott also gained experience in analytical troubleshooting and resolving high visibility escalations.

Scott then joined Oracle Corporation as a Principal Technical Support Engineer for four years, before moving to Delphix as a Staff Engineer in 2014. In their role at Delphix, Scott provided technical support for Virtualization and Masking products, specializing in performance and covering various operating systems, databases, and networking technologies.

Scott MacDonald attended Aston University from 1991 to 1993, where they pursued a degree in Electronic Engineering & Computer Science. However, they were unable to complete their BEng degree during this period.
