Maria Reyes

Maria Reyes has extensive experience in both foster care and educational settings. Since 2004, Maria has worked at Delta Community Supports as a Treatment Care Foster Parent and Medical Foster Parent, collaborating with various professionals to support the social, emotional, and educational needs of foster children who have experienced trauma. Maria also served as a Pastoral Care Intern at Cancer Treatment Centers of America, providing spiritual care to patients and caregivers. Previous roles include Interim Bible Teacher at Iglesia Nueva Jerusalen and Special Needs Assistant at Hilton Head Start, where support was provided to preschoolers and families navigate special education services. Academically, Maria holds a Master of Theological Studies with a concentration in Christian Counseling from Palmer Theological Seminary, a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Eastern University, and an Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Esperanza College, each earned with distinction.
