Simon Fogliato

Simon Fogliato started their work experience in 1999 as an Assistant Manager at Safeway Canada. Simon then worked at BCIT from 2002 to 2004, first as a Science Peer Tutor and then as the Peer Tutoring Program Coordinator. Since 2004, they have been working at Delta Controls Inc., initially as a Software Quality Assurance Specialist Lead and then transitioning to the role of Software Technical Lead in 2011.

Simon Fogliato's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Systems (Network Security Development & Distributed Systems) from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they earned a Diploma of Technology in Robotics and Automation from the same institute, completing it from 2002 to 2004. Simon also attended Douglas College in 2001. Simon completed their high school education at St. Thomas More Collegiate. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications, including a Standard First Aid - with CPR-C-AED certification from St. John Ambulance BC/Yukon in September 2023 and a Respect in Sport - Activity Leader certification from Scouts Canada in November 2022. Simon has also acquired several certifications in Python Data Structures and Algorithms, Python Object-Oriented Programming, and Scrum.
