James Jones

James Jones is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product management and operations, currently serving as the Director of Product Management and Design at Delta Dental Ins. since 2023. At Delta Dental, James leads a team of 30 Product Managers and oversees a technology budget of $40 million to drive digital transformation initiatives across key business functions. Previously at Elevance Health from 2004 to 2022, James held several leadership roles, including Director of Product Management, where management of a diverse team focused on streamlining the prior authorization process took place. Additionally, James directed shared services operations for a contact center with 1,500 agents and managed a 200-seat contact center, ensuring efficient operational practices. James began a career with the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman from 1994 to 1999 and holds a Master's degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Health Care Administration from Roosevelt University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Loyola University Chicago.
