Tom Baltis

Tom Baltis currently serves as the Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer, and Chief Technology Risk Officer at Delta Dental Insurance since November 2016. In addition to this role, Tom acts as an Industry Advisor for Warburg Pincus LLC and a Venture Advisor for YL Ventures, both since 2024 and 2017, respectively. Tom is involved as an Advisor on the Advisory Board for Balbix since January 2021 and previously for Medigate by Claroty from November 2017 to January 2022, as well as for Cylance from December 2015 to February 2019. Tom has held significant positions in the information security field, including Vice President, CISO at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and various roles at Cisco and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of IL, TX, NM, OK, MT. Tom's career began at Allstate as a Manager in Information Security. Tom holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, cum laude, in Information Systems Management from Loyola University Chicago.
