April Schmaltz

April Schmaltz is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in marketing and sales within the financial services and dental industries. Currently serving as President & CEO of Delta Dental of Iowa since December 2014, April has previously held senior roles that include Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales and Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at the same organization. Prior experience includes leadership positions at TMG Financial Services, where April excelled in consumer and business-to-business marketing strategies, and significant contributions to the American Marketing Association as a member of the Professional Chapters Council. April also served as Immediate Past President and President of AMA Iowa. Earlier career highlights include serving as Assistant Vice President of Marketing at Marsh. April holds an MBA from Iowa State University - Ivy College of Business and has a degree from St. Mary's University.
