Cipriano Mascote

Cipriano Mascote has a diverse work experience. Cipriano started as an Actuarial Intern at Delta Dental of Missouri in September 2009, and gradually progressed to various roles within the company, including Actuarial Analyst, Associate Actuary, Actuarial Supervisor, Actuarial & Client Reporting Supervisor, Manager in Actuarial & Client Reporting, and Manager in Actuarial and Reporting & Analytics. Cipriano then became the Director of Actuarial and Reporting & Analytics, and later the Director of Actuarial, Analytics, and Underwriting. Currently, Cipriano holds the title of Chief Actuarial Officer at Delta Dental of Missouri.

Before joining Delta Dental of Missouri, Cipriano worked at Vandover as a Research Specialist from February 2008 to September 2009. Cipriano'sresponsibilities included conducting extensive research, creating reports, interviewing prospective employees, and developing career management materials for clients using various tools and databases.

In addition, Cipriano gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville from August 2006 to February 2008. Cipriano taught Calculus I, II, and III to a sizable number of students, developed assignments, provided one-on-one feedback sessions to address students' weaknesses, and graded assignments.

Cipriano Mascote obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Actuarial Science from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, they acquired the Advanced Management Certificate from Washington University in St. Louis in March 2019 and the Predictive Analytics Certificate from the Society of Actuaries in March 2019. Cipriano also earned the prestigious Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) title from the Society of Actuaries in March 2018.
