Ananda Gilmore has an extensive work experience in the field of marketing and advertising. Ananda started their career at Comp Art Associates as a Graphic Designer from 1994 to 1996. Ananda then moved on to work at Carilion Health System-Strategic Development Department as a Graphic Designer from 1996 to 1999. During this time, they created various TV, radio, and print materials for different departments within Carilion. Ananda then joined Frankl Creative Group, Inc. as Vice President in 1999, where they worked directly with clients to determine marketing and advertising needs. Ananda collaborated with clients such as Carilion Clinic, Delta Dental of Virginia, and The Better Business Bureau. In 2011, they joined Advance Auto Parts as a Senior Designer-Commercial until 2014. Currently, Ananda is employed at Delta Dental of Virginia, where they started as a Senior Designer in 2014 and progressed to the roles of Marketing Communications Manager from 2020 to 2022. Ananda is currently serving as the Director of Brand Management.
Ananda Gilmore's education history begins with their Bachelor of Science in Art degree, which they obtained from Radford University from 1990 to 1994, with a focus on Graphic Design. In 1995-1996, they pursued continuing education in InDesign and Photoshop at Indiana Polytechnic Institute. Later, in 2001-2002, they furthered their studies in Graphic Communications with a continuing education program at NorthStar Academy.
In 2017-2018, Ananda attended Hollins University, where they completed the Batten Leadership Program, specializing in Organizational Leadership. Recently, in 2021, they attended Cornell University and acquired a Marketing and Data Analytics Certification, with a particular focus on Marketing/Marketing Management. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Marketing Analytics from Cornell University in June 2021.
