Martijn van der Knaap

Martijn van der Knaap currently serves as Directeur Bouw Network Development at DELTA Fiber, overseeing the rollout and management of the FTTX fiber optic network for both B2C and B2B sectors since December 2022. Previously, Martijn held the position of Directeur Transformatie Nederland at Royal BAM Group nv from October 2020 to December 2022, where responsibilities included executing the strategic agenda through organizational restructuring and implementing investment programs focused on sustainability, digitalization, and industrialization. Earlier roles at BAM included Directeur Projectenbedrijf and various directorships within BAM Wonen, where Martijn was responsible for housing project development in multiple regions. Additionally, experience includes consultancy at TwynstraGudde and previous positions in contract coordination and business development within BAM Infra Nederland. Martijn holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology and an Executive MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
