Deltares
Elias de Korte is a PhD candidate at TU Delft, specializing in coastal oceanography and wave data assimilation at the department of Applied Mathematics. Previously, Elias worked as a researcher at Deltares, focusing on Horizon 2020 project called UNITED. Before that, Elias was a rowing instructor at TopRow, where they taught rowing courses to individuals of all ages and skill levels. Additionally, Elias has experience as a research intern at CNRS, where they worked on a Bayesian Network approach to modeling rip current drownings and shore-break wave injuries. Elias holds a Master of Science in Earth Surface and Water- Coastal Dynamics and Fluvial Systems from Utrecht University.
