Judith ter Maat is an experienced professional in water security and integrated water resources management, currently serving as a Research Programme Manager at Deltares since June 2004. Judith has also held positions as an Expert Advisor and Researcher in the same field, along with being an Associate Professional IWRM Expert, gaining valuable international experience in the Philippines and Mongolia. Previously, Judith worked as a Consultant in spatial planning, infrastructure, and water at Witteveen+Bos from November 1999 to June 2004. Judith holds a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology, earned between 1992 and 1998.
