Deltares
Tommer Vermaas is a skilled geologist with extensive experience in sedimentary geology and GIS research. Currently employed at Deltares since December 2012, Tommer focuses on international consultancy and applied research projects, specifically in sedimentary and long-term morpho-dynamics, as well as quantifying seabed dynamics. Previous roles include GIS researcher at Alterra (April 2011 - November 2012), research assistant at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, an internship at Deltares during MSc studies, and a student assistant position at Universiteit Utrecht. Tommer holds an MSc in Physical Geography and a BSc in Earth Sciences from Utrecht University, complemented by a VWO diploma from Het Nieuwe Lyceum.
