Kunal Joshi

Kunal Joshi is a geologist with extensive experience in the mining and hydrological sectors. Currently employed at UltraTech Cement since September 2022, Kunal previously served as a Junior Project Fellow at GBPNIHE, engaging in hydrogeological assessments and hydrological modeling from April 2021 to September 2022. Prior to that, Kunal held the position of Assistant Manager Geology at Almora Magnesite Limited from January 2018 to April 2021, where responsibilities included statutory geological work at Jhiroli Magnesite Mines, following MCDR 2017 regulations. Kunal began a career as a Trainee Geologist at Almora Magnesite Limited. Academically, Kunal holds a Master of Science in Geology and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Physics, and Geology from Kumaun University, along with a Post Graduate Diploma in Disaster Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University.
