Matt Barr

Matt Barr has a diverse work experience in the field of digital video broadcasting and technology solutions. Matt recently joined Deltatre as a Senior Director of Solution Engineering in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Red Bee Media as a Global Pre-Sales Solutions Architect from 2019 to 2022, where they managed pre-sales technical relationships with customers and defined complex solutions. From 2015 to 2019, Matt held the position of Senior Director of Sales Engineering at NeuLion, where they supported the EMEA sales team and worked with sports federations, pay TV operators, broadcasters, and content retailers. Before that, they were the Director of Technical Account Management at DivX in 2014. Matt also had a significant tenure at Rovi, where they served as the Director of Operations from 2011 to 2014 and the Director of Support Services from 2010 to 2011. Matt started their career at Sonic Solutions, where they held the roles of Technical Support Manager, EMEA from 2006 to 2010 and Product Specialist from 2004 to 2006. Overall, Matt Barr has extensive experience in technical leadership, solution engineering, pre-sales, and sales engineering roles within the digital video industry.

Matt Barr attended the University of Surrey from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a BMus (Hons) in Music and Sound Recording (Tonmeister).
