Luuk Buitendijk

Luuk Buitendijk is a seasoned professional in landscape architecture and urbanism, currently serving as a Senior Project Lead and Ambassador at DELVA Landscape Architecture / Urbanism since May 2024. Previously, Luuk held the position of Associate Program Manager for the Arcadis Shelter Program from January 2021 to March 2024, focusing on enhancing the quality of life in rapidly growing cities through partnerships with UN-Habitat. Luuk also worked as a Senior Project Lead in Urban Development at Arcadis from January 2019 to March 2024 and began a career in urban planning as a Sales Assistant at Van Bemmelen Outdoor from June 2010 to December 2018. Luuk gained practical experience during a Graduate Internship at Royal HaskoningDHV in 2018, writing a master's thesis on social sustainability in post-war neighborhoods. Luuk's education includes a Master's in Spatial Planning from Utrecht University and a Bachelor's in Planologie from the University of Amsterdam.
