Heng Xie

Heng Xie, PhD MBA, currently serves as the Senior Director of Assay and Product Development at Delve Bio, focusing on metagenomics clinical assay and product development since November 2025. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Director at NeoGenomics Laboratories, where responsibilities encompassed the research and development of oncology assays, and Principal Research Scientist at GenScript, leading next-generation sequencing R&D programs. Heng Xie previously held various roles at IDbyDNA, contributing to the company's acquisition by Illumina, and began a career in laboratory technology and research. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Biology from the University of Utah, a BS in Biology from the University of Science and Technology of China, and an MBA from the Jack Welch Management Institute.
