Alec Stevens

Alec Stevens is an experienced engineering consultant specializing in energy efficiency within large commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings, and has been the owner of Demand Management Institute since August 1999. Prior to this, Alec served as a Project Manager, overseeing energy efficiency engineering projects and leading team efforts while also handling business development and managerial tasks. Earlier career experience includes working as a Vehicle R&D Engineer at Solectria, where design of battery systems for various electric vehicles was a primary focus, and as an engineer at Ford Motor Company in the Electrical and Fuel Handling Division. Alec holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, completed in 1994, and attended Friends' Central School from 1978 to 1990.
