Carmen Easterwood

Carmen Easterwood is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at Demandbase since October 2020, Carmen has held positions as a Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist within the same organization. Prior experience includes working as a Data Scientist at NS8 Inc, where Carmen led a data team in enhancing fraud detection algorithms, and at Groupon, where improvements to customer deactivation prediction models were implemented. Earlier roles included positions as a Data Analyst III at SAP Concur, where Carmen improved data quality and analytics, and as a Data Analyst at EmblemHealth. Carmen also brings actuarial expertise gained as an Actuarial Consultant at FTI Consulting and fellowship experience from the Guyana Ministry of Health. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Information & Data Science from UC Berkeley, a Master’s degree in International & Development Economics from Yale, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Carnegie Mellon University.
