Guillermo Loaiza

Guillermo Loaiza is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and engineering across various sectors, including logistics and oil & gas. Currently serving as Project Management and Execution Strategy Lead for EMEA Risk Controlling at Dematic since January 2017, Guillermo has held multiple roles, including Solutions Development Team Lead and Solutions Development Engineer. Prior experience includes applications engineering at Weatherford, where logistics and field operations for the Oil & Gas sector were managed, and asset auditing at Gold Coast City Council, focusing on coastal infrastructure. Guillermo's career began as a Mechanical Engineer at Helmantica Representations, with responsibilities in structural design and project supervision. An educator as well, Guillermo served as a Heating Transfer Laboratory Tutor at Central University of Venezuela. Armed with a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management from Griffith University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Central de Venezuela, Guillermo possesses strong leadership and team management skills, complemented by a robust technical background.
