Matthew Haley

Matthew Haley is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations research and applied artificial intelligence. Since June 2014, Matthew has held the position of Operations Research & Applied AI Lead at Dematic, following a role as a Senior Operations Research Engineer. Prior experience includes an internship as an Operations Research Analyst at Reddwerks Corporation and a lecturer position at the University of Texas at Austin, where Matthew taught introductory physics for engineers and developed innovative teaching methods. Matthew also served as a teaching assistant at the same university, contributing to the design of new physics courses and leading training sessions for faculty. Additional experience includes tutoring in test preparation and a mechanical engineering internship at an HVAC firm. Matthew holds a Master's degree in Operations Research and a PhD in Particle Physics from the University of Texas at Austin, along with a dual Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Physics from Duke University.
