Prithivi Ram Duraisingam is an Optical System Engineer at DEMCON Focal since January 2022, specializing in the design and engineering of bespoke opto-mechatronic systems for high-tech markets. Prior to this role, Prithivi served as a Senior Controls Engineer at IMS from July 2015 to December 2021, focusing on automated production lines for leading manufacturers in small sensors and micro-optics. Previous experience includes positions as a Controls Engineer and Embedded Systems Trainee at Tvilight Intelligent Lighting, a Machine Vision Intern at NXP Semiconductors, and an Embedded Computer Vision Intern at Prime Vision. Prithivi holds a Master of Science degree in Embedded Systems from both the University of Twente and Delft University of Technology, along with a Post Graduate Diploma in Embedded System Design and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering.

Demcon focal is the integration and development partner in the field of Industrial Precision Inspection and Optical Systems. Demcon focal develops and realizes precision inspection and optical measurement systems for customers in automotive, life sciences and semicon. DEMCON Focal performs custom design and engineering (D&E) in a multidisciplinary approach, consisting of optical engineering, machine vision and system engineering. Activities include high-level requirements engineering, concept design, prototyping, detailed engineering, system integration and delivery. The result of our efforts is systems that work, which are either integrated and supported in the customers’ production lines, or delivered as modules ready for integration in high-tech or medical OEM products.
