Arunas Petrauskas

Arunas Petrauskas has a strong background in maritime operations, currently serving as Chief Officer and SDPO at DEME Group since May 2021. Previously, Arunas held the position of Chief Mate/SDPO at Boskalis Offshore Energy from August 2018 to July 2021, and served as a 2nd mate at Royal Boskalis Westminster from April 2013 to August 2018. Additionally, experience includes roles as a 2nd Mate DPO at VBMS from June 2016 to July 2018 and as a 3rd mate at Royal Boskalis Westminster nv from April 2012 to April 2013. Arunas is skilled in cable laying, cable repairs, pull ins, UXO clearance, trenching, ploughing, ROV operations, and survey operations. Arunas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Transport Engineering, Maritime Studies from the Lithuanian Maritime Academy, completed from 2008 to 2012.
