Ian Taylor

Ian Taylor is an accomplished professional in the energy sector with extensive experience in offshore wind and marine construction. Currently serving as Project Director at Thistle Wind Partners, Ian leads the development of two Scotwind Projects. Additionally, Ian has been the DEME Offshore Country Manager for the UK and Ireland since June 2015, overseeing offshore wind farm construction and business development activities. As Managing Director at NewWaves Solutions Limited, Ian focuses on marine civils works. Prior roles include positions at GeoSea NV, Typhoon Off, HOCHTIEF, Good Energies, SLP Energy, TXU Energy, and Alstom G. Ian holds an MBA from Cranfield School of Management and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Manchester.
