Koen Groenen

Koen Groenen is an experienced HR specialist currently serving as HR (Deputy) Crew Manager in the Offshore division at DEME Group since August 2013. Responsibilities include managing the crewing department, coordinating crew logistics, conducting performance evaluations, and overseeing recruitment processes for international crews. Groenen has actively participated in various industry events and seminars, contributing to the development of the crewing department and implementing new HR systems. Prior to DEME Group, experience included roles at Olympia Uitzendbureau, where responsibility encompassed client and worker matching, recruitment, and administrative tasks. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Crew Management from Lloyd's Maritime Academy and a Bachelor of Health, Sport & Management from HAN University of Applied Sciences.
