Holly Stevenson is an experienced professional in social media communications and wildlife conservation. Currently serving as a Social Media Assistant at Dementia UK since August 2023, Holly also co-hosts a podcast for Nature Positivitea and has previously volunteered as a Social Media and Communications Volunteer for Mammal Society and Digital Communications Volunteer for The Climate Coalition. Holly has engaged in various initiatives such as designing and delivering the Wild Music Workshop at the Festival of Nature 2022 and supporting prospective students as a Unibuddy Student Ambassador at Nottingham Trent University. Holly holds an MSc in Science Communication from the University of the West of England and a BSc in Wildlife Conservation from Nottingham Trent University, complemented by additional educational experiences in Zoology and A Levels at The Redhill Academy.

Dementia UK provides specialist dementia support for families through our Admiral Nurse service. When things get challenging or difficult for people with dementia and their families, Admiral Nurses work alongside them. They give the one-to-one support, guidance and practical solutions people need, and that can be hard to find elsewhere. Admiral Nurses are continually trained, developed and supported by Dementia UK. Families that have their support have someone truly expert and caring by their side - helping them to live more positively with dementia in the present, and to face the challenges of tomorrow with more confidence and less fear.
