Jazmin Abreu

Jazmin Abreu is currently the Special Projects Manager at Democracy Prep Public Schools. Prior to that, they worked as the Finance & Compliance Coordinator at Blue Engine from August 2015 to April 2017. In that role, they were responsible for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable systems, as well as the monthly close process with staff. Jazmin also served as the lead internal point person on all AmeriCorps compliance issues, encouraging a culture of service and ensuring that all deadlines were met for paperwork completion and system enrollment / exit.

Jazmin Abreu has a Bachelor's degree in English and Sociology from University at Albany, SUNY. Jazmin also has certification from Coursera in Finance for Non-Finance Professionals Course, NCBI, and Safe Space Certificate.

Jazmin Abreu works with Claire Chaney - Senior Director of Data Support & Accountability, Anita Ntem - Manager of Executive Operations, and Princess Lyles - Vice President of External Affairs. Their manager is Natasha Trivers, Chief Executive Officer.
