Larry Person

Larry Person is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in software development and engineering leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer II and Tech Lead at the Democratic National Committee since August 2020, Larry leads the Data Movement team in creating user-friendly APIs for voter-contact information exchange. In addition to the primary role, Larry contributes to the open-source project Spoke as a Volunteer Contributor, where efforts focus on texter supervision. Previous roles include positions at Shutterstock, Grailed, Spring Inc., MarketFactory, and the International Securities Exchange, with significant contributions to digital asset licensing, e-commerce, high-frequency trading platforms, and equity options exchanges. Larry's educational background includes time at The Recurse Center and Hamilton College.
