Kelli also played a pivotal role in project management and securing funding for comprehensive trail connections. Kelli held this position from 2005 to 2016.

Kelli's career in the field of parks and recreation management began as the Director of Recreation & Parks Maintenance at the Village of Cross Plains, a position they held from 2002 to 2005.
