Mr. Riddle specializes in the investigation, evaluation, and repair of distressed structures. He has performed numerous structural condition and damage assessments for a variety of structure types including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. In many cases, he has also designed structural repairs or retrofits for the structures that he has inspected. In addition, he has performed research involving the long-term structural monitoring of integral abutment bridges and detailed finite element modeling. With a strong background in structural analysis and design, Mr. Riddle has the ability to design appropriate and economical repairs for unique or complex situations.

Among many endeavors, Mr. Riddle works to remain involved and up-to-date with the industry. As a member of ASTM International, he serves on the Performance of Buildings Technical Committee and on the Structural Performance of Connections in Building Construction Subcommittee. As a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and Structural Engineering Institute (SEI), he serves on the Structural Condition Assessment and Rehabilitation of Buildings Committee. Mr. Riddle is also a member of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), through which he volunteers his time each year as a judge for the National Student Steel Bridge Competition.
