Cathal O'Halloran

Cathal O'Halloran is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in game development and engineering management. Currently serving as the Senior Engineering Manager for the Messaging Team at Demonware since August 2015, Cathal has managed the implementation of text chat and event-based notifications for millions of players in several Call of Duty titles. With a history of leading teams that support the integration of Demonware services, Cathal has contributed to the launch of key Activision games including Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile and Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time. Cathal's career at Demonware began with a Software Development Internship, and previous roles also include Engineering Manager and Team Lead. Academically, Cathal holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Games from the University of Limerick and has also contributed to educational environments as a Teaching Assistant and Peer Supported Learning Group Leader.
