Kalin Drzewiecki-Sezer

Chief of Staff at Demos

Kalin joined Dēmos in 2008. She is responsible for operations leadership, including organizational health, risk management, talent management, facility management, IT management and organizational budgeting. She is passionate about working to ensure that the organization is living its values internally, in addition to working for racial equity and inclusion externally.

Kalin served as Co-Chair of the Board of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network, New York Chapter from 2016-2019. She was 2015-2016 Community Innovation Fellow with Re:Gender, a two-year fellowship designed to build skills to influence one’s field with the application of a gender lens. She was the recipient of the 2014 Public Citizen Phyllis McCarthy Public Interest Service Award.

Previously Kalin worked with Re:Gender. She is a Rockwood Leadership Institute alumna and has a Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional Certificate from FMA. She did graduate work in International Studies at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey, and worked with The Global Justice Center and Funding Exchange as part of her studies. She holds B.A. degrees in International Studies and French from St. Norbert College in Wisconsin. As an undergraduate, she studied in Madagascar, Mexico, and France, and at the United Nations. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and canoeing.
