Director, Human Resources at Denali Ingredients

Paul Kortman has over 35 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Paul is currently the Director of Human Resources at Denali Ingredients, a full-line ice cream ingredients and inclusions manufacturer. Paul was also the President of The Corporate Advantage and the Manager of Human Resources at C&D Technologies. Prior to that, they were the Manager of Human Resources - CAPS Pork Operations at Cargill, where they led the production of high-quality pork products. Paul has also served as a Civil Service Commissioner at the City of Oak Creek and as an HR Manager at Kohler Co. Additionally, they have experience as the Director of HR at ATC Transportation, Inc., where they were responsible for leading the human resource department and its processes. Paul has also worked at Market America as a Master and at Alto-Shaam, Inc. and Visa Lighting as a Manager and Director of Human Resources, respectively. Paul has extensive experience in various areas of human resources, including recruitment, employee development, performance management, labor relations, and compliance.

Paul Kortman completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Human Resources Management and Services from Concordia University-Wisconsin from 2012 to 2019. Paul also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from Missouri State University. Additionally, they have a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from the same institution. Paul Kortman obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible from Central Bible College. Paul received their diploma from Waukesha South. In terms of certifications, they are a GIAC Certified Incident Manager (GCIM) obtained from Allen Safety LLC in June 2012. Paul also holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification obtained from the Society for Human Resources Management in May 1999.
