Wali Shearzad

Wali Shearzad has a diverse and extensive work experience. Wali is currently serving as the Chief Legal Officer at Dengage since March 2023. Prior to this role, they held the position of Head of Legal & Compliance at Dengage from June 2020 to May 2023. Before joining Dengage, Wali was the CEO of Professional Services Canada from September 2001 to June 2020. Wali also worked as a Comparative Law Expert at JACKSON WALKER L.L.P. from February 2001 to June 2001. Wali gained further expertise as a Visiting Researcher at HARVARD LAW SCHOOL from November 2000 to February 2001. Earlier in their career, Wali served as a Comparative Law Consultant at BAYKO GIBSON HAGAN & MEYER L.L.P. from May 1998 to September 1998.

Wali Shearzad holds a LL.M. degree from Harvard Law School, which they obtained from 1997 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed a Higher Diploma in Shari'ah & Law at the International Islamic University, Islamabad from 1996 to 1999. Wali also holds a LL.B. (Hons.) degree in Bachelor of Laws (Shari'ah & Law) from the same university, accomplished from 1992 to 1996.
