Melanie van der Wal

Melanie Van der Wal is a co-founder of Gemci, a city guide launched in January 2024, designed to highlight unique urban locations. Since December 2016, Melanie has served as assistant store manager at DENHAM the Jeanmaker, a contemporary denim brand founded in Amsterdam. Previous experience includes positions as a Horecamedewerker at HealthCity from June 2015 to August 2016, and a stagiaire at Addy van den Krommenacker, where the focus was on feminine evening dresses, from November 2014 to March 2015. In March 2014, Melanie contributed styling expertise to Everybody Dance Now!. Educational qualifications include a degree in Junior Fashion Design from ROC-mediapark Hilversum and a Havo diploma from Hermann Wesselink College.
