Chad Sorba

Vice President Technical Services & Project Evaluation at Denison Mines

Chad Sorba has a diverse work experience in the mining industry. Chad started their career as a Geology Summer Student at International Uranium Corp. in 2006, where they gained valuable experience. In 2007, they joined Denison Mines Corp. as a Geology Summer Student before transitioning to the role of Geologist. Chad then progressed through various positions, including Project Geologist, Senior Project Geologist, and Regional Geologist. In 2017, Chad became a Technical Manager at Denison Mines Corp. before being promoted to Technical Services Manager in 2018. Chad further advanced to the position of Director Technical Services in 2023 and currently serves as the Vice President Technical Services & Project Evaluation at Denison Mines Corp.

Chad Sorba obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Honours degree in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Saskatchewan, attending from 2003 to 2008. Chad also holds a certification in Organizational Leadership from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), which was obtained in 2022.
