Rick Black is the Executive Vice President at Dennard Lascar Associates. Rick has over 20 years of experience in investor relations and has held various positions at different companies.

Black started their career in investor relations at Easterly Investor Relations in 1999 and then worked as a consultant for Houston NIRI Chapter from 1998 to 2000. Rick later became an account executive at Business Wire from 1997 to 2000. In 2001, they joined BMC Software as an investor relations specialist and held that position until 2005 when they left to Luby's. At Luby's, Black served as the Director of Investor Relations from 2005 to 2009.

In 2009, Black left Luby's to join H&K Strategies where they led an embedded team that ran the communications department at Tenet Healthcare. Rick also served as the media spokesperson for Tenet Healthcare from 2009 to 2013. After leaving H&K Strategies, Black joined Dennard Lascar Investor Relations where they have been working as the Executive Vice President since 2013.
