Anupam Agarwal, MD, MPH

Anupam Agarwal, MD, MPH has worked in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry since 2006. Anupam began their career as a Physician at Harvard University Health Services in 2005. In 2006, they became the Director of Safety and Pharmacovigilance at GlaxoSmithKline. Anupam then moved to Pfizer in 2010, where they were the Safety Risk Lead for Safety Surveillance and Risk Management. In 2012, they joined Gilead Sciences as the Therapeutic Area Director for Cardiovascular & Respiratory, Drug Safety and Public Health. In 2015, they became a Member of the Board of Directors at San Mateo County Health Foundation. In 2016, they joined the Board of Harvard Club of San Francisco. In 2017, they became a Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance Advisor for the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry, as well as a Member of the Scientific Oversight Committee at CSRC - Cardiac Safety Research Consortium. In 2022, they joined Denovo Biopharma as the Senior Vice President, Global Head of Drug Safety & PV.

Anupam Agarwal, MD, MPH completed their Doctor of Medicine (MD) at G.S.V.M. Medical College in the field of Medicine. Anupam then obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in the field of Clinical Effectiveness from 2003 to 2005. In 2010, they obtained Board Certification in Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. In 2014, they obtained a US Medical License from The Medical Board of California.
