Chris Woods

Chris Woods is an experienced professional in geotechnical engineering, currently serving as a Board Trustee for the Academy of Geo-Professionals and as Vice President at Densification, Inc., where responsibilities include client development, project management, and oversight of technical work plans. Woods is actively involved with the American Society of Civil Engineers as an Editorial Board Member for GeoStrata and has contributed to various committees, including the Deep Foundations Institute's Student Engagement Committee as Chair. Previous roles include Chief Engineer and Senior Project Manager at Densification, Inc. and LANGAN respectively, along with academic contributions as Practitioner Adjunct Faculty at George Mason University. Chris Woods holds a Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University.
