Alan Boyd

Alan Boyd, MBA, is an experienced professional in the automotive and electrification industries, currently serving as the Electrification Business Strategy Lead at DENSO since April 2022, focusing on the commercialization of electrical propulsion units and battery management for air mobility. Prior to this role, Alan held various leadership positions, including Director of Business Planning at NTN Bearing Corporation of America, where oversight involved managing departments integral to a $1 billion automotive revenue. Alan's extensive experience also includes serving as Project Chief at Chrysler, where key contributions involved the design and launch of electrical power systems, and as CEO of ASB Renewable Energy Consulting, which aimed to facilitate the commercialization of renewable energy products. Alan's foundational career at Ford Motor Company spanned over 16 years, with significant achievements in global commodity planning, BEV development, and new business program management. Alan holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Civil Engineering from Lawrence Technological University.
