Barry Lyon

Barry Lyon DDS is an experienced dental professional currently serving as the Chief Dental Officer for the Division of Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics at Dental Care Alliance since January 2021. In addition to this role, Barry also holds the title of Dental Director at the same organization from July 2010 to September 2017. As the owner of Dental Defense since May 2008, Barry has utilized extensive expertise gained from previous positions, including Past Vice President of Clinical Quality at Kool Smiles from July 2018 to February 2019. Barry's educational background includes a D.D.S. and a certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, as well as a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland, College Park, and the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Barry completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
