Manjula Goonewardene has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Manjula Goonewardene is currently working as the Director of Infrastructure for Engineering Facilities and Capital Projects at Dental Health Services Victoria. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Manager of Mechanical Engineering at La Trobe University from 2018 to 2022. Manjula Goonewardene also worked as a Building Services Engineer at Museums Victoria from 2014 to 2018 and as an Engineering Services Manager at Coles from 2009 to 2014. Before that, Manjula worked as a Building Engineer at RACV from 2006 to 2008 and as a Chief Engineer at Mirvac from 2002 to 2006.
