Michelle R. Ward

Michelle R. Ward has a long and successful career in the healthcare and finance industries. Michelle R. began their career in 1990 as an Assistant Branch Manager at F&M Bank. In 1997, they moved to ING as a Business Analyst, where they focused on process improvements and automation of manual tasks. In 2000, they joined WellPoint as a Senior Trainer for BCBS Georgia, where they were responsible for redesigning workflows from the ground up and developing new processes. In 2001, they took on the role of Account Manager, Payer and Channel Partner at Emdeon, where they managed relationships with large regional payers and channel partners. In 2007, they became a Business Partner Account Manager at Capario, where they optimized multi-directional trading partner relationships to maximize back end revenue. In 2014, they joined TriZetto Provider Solutions as Director, Enterprise Payer Sales, where they drove efficiencies and profitability in the healthcare information and insurance services. In 2015, they became Senior Director, Sales & Account Management at Vyne Corp, where they managed a sales and account management team of six associates. In 2016, they joined Cognizant as Director, Enterprise Revenue Cycle Management Solutions. In 2020, they took on the role of Senior Sales Executive, Medical Network Solutions at Change Healthcare. Finally, in 2023, they became Senior Director, Payer and Trading Partner Account Management at DentalXChange.

Michelle R. Ward attended Northern Virginia Community College from 1989 to 1992, studying Business/Commerce, General. Michelle R. obtained a Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Certified Revenue Cycle Representative certification in September 2020. In October 2016, they obtained a Pragmatic Institute Pragmatic Marketing, PMC-II certification. In February 2006, they obtained a Miller Heiman Group Strategic Selling certification.
