Erin Carter

Erin Carney Carter, CCE, IOM, serves as the President of the Denton Chamber of Commerce in Texas since July 2021, following a tenure as President of the Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce from September 2013 to July 2021. Prior to that role, Erin held the position of Events and Communications Director at the Lewisville Chamber of Commerce and served as the Director of Community Relations at Denton County Friends of the Family, where responsibilities included donor identification, sponsor recognition, and volunteer program management. Erin's earlier experience includes roles as Community Resource Coordinator at Kirkland's Home and Gift Genius at Summer Fine Arts, LLC. In terms of education, Erin earned a Master of Science in Women's Studies and Nonprofit Management from The University of North Texas, and a Bachelor of Science in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology from The University of Arizona.
