David Almager serves as the Director of the Battering Intervention and Prevention Program (BIPP) at Denton County Friends of the Family, a position held since June 2017. With extensive experience in addressing family violence, David has worked in various capacities within domestic violence programs, including serving as Program Director at The Family Place BIPP for nearly a decade and as a counselor at Hope's Door. David's background also includes experience as a Mental Health Worker at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and as Director of Family Violence Services at Family Support Services of Amarillo. David holds a Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies-Counseling/Health and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from West Texas A&M University.
